Mr. Horne's Message
Broken Arrow Families,
Your child has most likely started their midyear assessments. The data gathered from these assessments help us measure individual student growth as well as aid in designing instruction to meet student needs. It is important that the data we collect is an authentic measure of their learning. Your child's teacher may have shared that we have assessment effort celebrations planned for the days leading up to the upcoming break. Students are taught specific practices by their classroom teacher that demonstrates effort on their daily work and tests. Students modeling those practices when participating in midyear assessments will attend the celebrations. Those who choose not to demonstrate effort may not have the opportunity to attend all of the celebrations.
Thank you for encouraging your child to give their best effort at school.
We hope to see you on Thursday, December 8 at our Winterfest family fun event! Drop in anytime between 5:30-7:00 pm.
Have a great weekend.
Mr. Horne
