Family Update
Dublin Jerome High School

THINK TEAM
January 31, 2025
A message from me...
Good Afternoon!
As we enter the 5th week of the quarter it s a good time to reset one of our values of the
Celtic Way--TAKING RESPONSIBILITY.
Taking responsibility requires us to do three things:
1. Press Pause and Think. Ask yourself what does this situation require of me? This will help us be intentional about our decisions and actions.
2. Do the Right Thing. Act with integrity.
3. Be Present. Be in the moment, pay attention and be focused.
High School is a place of making mistakes and learning. It is okay if a student is late to school, does poorly on a test, or mishandles a relationship. What is important is we take responsibility for our role in the situation and make changes moving forward to achieve a better outcome.
Taking ownership of our 20 square feet will help us as we prepare for success in our endeavors.
Keep doing the work!
Have a great weekend!
Mike
Infinite Campus Parent Portal Absence Reporting is LIVE!
We’re excited to announce that the new Absence Request tool in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal is now available for families at Jerome High School, Eversole Run Middle School, and Abraham Depp Elementary!
This tool offers a faster, more efficient way to report student absences, whether you’re using a desktop computer or the Parent Portal app on your mobile device. No more waiting on hold or searching for email addresses—just a few clicks, and your student’s absence is reported.
Here’s how to use the Absence Request tool:
Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account.
Select your child’s profile.
Navigate to More, then Absence Request.
Fill in the required information, including the date and reason for the absence.
Submit your request.
This pilot program is part of our commitment to improving convenience for families and efficiency for schools. If successful, we hope to roll out the Absence Request tool across all Dublin City Schools in the future. Thank you for helping us test this exciting new feature! Your feedback will play an important role in shaping its success. For detailed instructions, visit the Absence Request Guide.
