POSITIVITY PROJECT
This Week:
We've had an incredible roll out of the Positivity Project to start the year! This coming week is a "Spiral Review," and each day will focus on reviewing a prior character strength. These are bravery, teamwork, creativity, and open-mindedness - knowing our words and actions affect others. Thank you for your support and continuing to have conversations about these character strengths at home as we continue to work on them here at school.
LHS SHOE DRIVE
Lakeland High School, Class of 2025 is doing a fundraiser to help pay for their
Senior Prom. It’s a shoe drive fundraiser. Through their partnership with the nonprofit,
Funds2Orgs, they are hoping to collect more than 5,000 pounds of gently worn, used and new
shoes to support micro enterprise vendors in developing nations. During this special season of
giving, their goal is to give back, while raising money for their prom. There is a box for gently worn shoes to be donated for anyone interested in the front entrance.
