Thank you for getting our scholars to school before the Tardy Bell (8:10 AM).

If parents arrive after 8:10 AM, please park and walk students to front office to sign-in on the computer near the bright pink sign-in sheet. Parents, please ensure you have a visitor’s badge before entering the main hallways of the campus building. All parents must show their State ID (e.g., Drivers’ License) when entering a building.

Parents are welcomed to join their scholars at a designated lunch table after Labor Day using schedule below:

• Tuesday: Kinder - 10:30 AM; 2nd Grade - 11:15 AM; 5th Grade - 12:10 PM
• Wednesday: 1st Grade - 10:55 AM; 3rd Grade - 11:35 AM; 4th Grade - 12:30 PM

All transportation changes must be submitted via phone call (832.484.5700) to GFE Front Office before 2:30 PM. Thanks!

• Parents please remember that all K/1 walker parents MUST show the walker tag for your student to be released. We would like to sustain our safety measure. If you need a new tag, please let your teacher know.

During our recent Spring Open House, we were pleased to host our Title I Meeting, where parents and guardians had the opportunity to learn more about how our school supports student learning. The meeting covered important topics such as curriculum, academic resources, and how Title I funding is used to enhance instruction. Families also received information on ways to stay involved and partner with teachers to ensure student success.

We appreciate everyone who attended and engaged in these valuable discussions!

GFE will share updates soon regarding information for the Flex School Campus our students and staff will relocate to during the 2025-2026 school year due to renovations that were approved by our Klein ISD Bond.

Construction will begin June 1st. Students and staff will return to our NEWLY RENOVATED Greenwood Forest Elementary building in August of 2026!

Get a FREE ticket to Big Rivers Waterpark and a FREE tumbler. They will also check your A1C which is a good indicator of prediabetes and diabetes (results are usually available within 2 weeks after donation).

Nurse Eligio

5th-Grade parents, please check you student's backpack for a permission slip to attend the Growth and Development Presentation with Nurse Eligio. Please contact the nurse via email, celigio1@kleinisd.net, if you have any questions.

Students must be fever-free for 24 hours without the help of medications before returning to school. Using medications to lower a temperature does not make the student less contagious and can lead to illnesses being spread to other students.

Please contact Nurse Eligio via email, cbrown15@kleinisd.net, if you have any questions for our GFE Clinic.

• Please place extra clothes in student's bags in case of accidents or spilled food for students in Grade K-2.
• The clinic needs a 2-weeks notice if you are bringing snacks for your child’s class. Please email Nurse Brown if you have any questions.
• Parents must drop all medications off in the clinic due to paperwork that is required.

Upon attending 5 events throughout the school year, you will be eligible to attend our graduation ceremony in May. We look forward to partnering with you this school year to support your student’s success!

*Two events must be district-wide events to receive credit for graduation.
