After-School Programming

CHOICES Behavioral Health Care is partnering with Marion-Sterling School to offer After-School Programming to Medicaid Eligible Students, Grades 1-8, Mondays-Thursdays. SPACE IS LIMITED. START THE PROCESS TODAY. PARENT/STAFF MEETING WITH CHOICES STAFF IS NECESSARY TO ENROLL IN THE PROGRAM. After-School Programming will include

Pro-Social Groups with the following Topics:

Problem Solving
Forgiveness
Getting honest
Learning to trust again
Communicating to be heard
Getting the Stink out of my Think
The disease of addiction
Managing Anger
Coping skills
Healthy Boundaries
Getting real about how I feel
Respect

Activities

Disney Musical, Dance, Open Gym, Playground, Arts/Crafts, Sports, Tug of War, Kickball, Food Prep, Field Trips, etc.

Tutoring

Qualified Tutors will work with your student’s teachers to help them increase literacy.

Snacks/Meal
Marion-Sterling/CHOICES will provide snacks/meal

Monday: Twin Day- Dress like a Friend

Tuesday: Switch Day - Teachers Dress like Students and Students Dress Like Teachers

Wednesday: Decades Day- Dress in Your Favorites Decade

Friday: Dress for Success - Dress your best!
