I am writing this on the first day of spring! I love everything about spring...warmer weather, longer days, spring break. Well, almost everything...I could do without the allergies, but we wouldn't have the renewal that comes during spring without pollen.

Sometimes we have to endure the bad to get to the good. This makes me think about Jesus and how He endured not just the bad but THE WORST...the worst kind of death on the cross, but more than that, paying the price for all our sins through His sacrificial act. And oh what GOOD came from His sacrifice...our means of salvation from our sins and a restored relationship with God!

"And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him."

2 Corinthians 5:18 (NLT)

We celebrate Easter this month, and most of you know that Easter is my favorite holiday of the year ever since I was little. It is an exciting time to be a Christian, getting to celebrate the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST! It is also an awesome time and opportunity to share our faith with those around us!

This will be our only activity for middle school, high school, and youth on the evening of Sunday, April 13th. Elementary activities TBD.

On Wednesday, April 16th, we are inviting all J.A.M. kids AND their families to join us at the Kingsport Carousel for a night of fellowship and fun from 5:30-7:30! We will also have an Easter gift for the kids how attend and a special invitation for you and your family to join us on Easter Sunday!

IMPORTANT: There are no Wednesday evening activities at church on April 16th. Your family is responsible for bringing you to the carousel and while you are at the carousel (i.e. You cannot be dropped off and picked up at the carousel!)
