CEPS Phy Ed Swim Unit is Back!
The CEPS PE swim unit is back for FIRST and SECOND graders! Students will be swimming for 5 days in a row. Week 1 runs from April 22-26 and Week 2 runs from April 29-May 3. You will receive a paper copy of your students' specific schedule soon if you have not already. They will be walking with their teachers and classmates to the high school pool. Parents/Guardians, please have your students practice changing from school clothes to swim wear and back. Students are expected to bring their swim gear, towel, and goggles if they so desire. Please help remind your students to bring their swim apparel every day. We highly recommend packing a plastic bag for their wet suit. Brushes and hair ties are ideal for students with long hair. The pool does have swim gear available for anyone who forgets but in the past they did not lend out goggles so please plan accordingly.

Health Services
Parent/Guardian & Emergency Contact Information
Emergencies can happen at any time, so it is crucial that school staff, especially Health Services staff, are able to get in contact with a parent/guardian or an emergency contact during the school day. Please take a moment to review your students' listed emergency contacts in the IC parent portal to ensure the information listed is the most current. If there are special circumstances where you know you will not be available for calls during a specific time of day or if school staff should utilize an alternate phone number such as an office line, please ensure that this is communicated and/or make sure that your listed emergency contacts are aware of this, as health office staff may need to contact them if your student is seen in the health office and parent/guardian notification is required. To make changes to your emergency contacts please see here for steps to update contact information. Thank you for our partnership in helping to keep our students safe and healthy!
