On Thursday (1/11) your #2AAA* Mustangs head to Park to take on East Ridge at 6:00 PM, and #12AAA Park at 7:15 PM. Come on out a support your Mustangs. On Saturday (1/13) the Mustangs host the Mustang Duals in the MAC. The Mustangs will wrestle at 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM. There are going to be some great match ups of ranked wrestlers, so come out and catch the action!

Attention Seniors! Stop by at lunch from Wednesday to Friday this week to collect your senior shirt!

ALPINE SKI: The Alpine Ski season is off to a fantastic start! The team raced in their first conference meet last night at Wild Mountain. Isaac Tsai finished in 11th place and Ethan Saari in 23rd. The Mounds View boys alpine team finished a strong 5th place! The girls team finished in 6th place with Alianne Grelling placing 11th!

BOYS BASKETBALL: Mounds View beat North St. Paul Monday night to improve to 8-3. Tonight they take on Forest Lake on Kauls Court at 7:00 PM. It is Teacher Appreciation Night. Go Mustangs!

GIRLS BASKETBALL: Good luck to girls basketball tonight at Forest Lake! Tip off is at 7:00 PM. Then they finish the week on Friday (1/12) with a home game against Woodbury. Tip off is at 7:00 PM on Kauls Court. Go Mustangs! ALL-1N!

STARTUP CLUB RELATASPACE: What would you do if you accidentally locked eyes with someone? Or forgotten someone’s name? Find out through Relataspace, a game of fun, relatable situations. We are having a sale before school on January 10-12 in the lower commons. One game costs just $18!

ROBOTICS TEAM: Our new Challenge has been released, and we have 11 weeks to design, test & build our new Robot to play the game! Regular meetings will be:

• Thursday (1/11) from 6:30-9:30 PM
• Saturday (1/13) from 9:00-3:00 PM

Girls hockey has two games this week. Thursday (1/11) at the SuperRink versus Woodbury. It’s also Youth Hockey Night so all kids wearing a jersey get in free! The Minnesota Brain Bee is a three round competition that tests on neuroscience. The preliminary round will take place on Wednesday (1/31) after school. There is no cost to participate. Get ready for the Mounds View NHS Art Fair! Our goal as a new student-run event is to promote diversity and equal opportunity for artists in the Mounds View District and community. We want to give students the opportunity to showcase their artwork and participate in an interactive fair for all ages!

The event will be held on Sunday (2/25) at Mounds View High School. The proceeds of the event will be donated to North Suburban Arts, which shares our mission of supporting diversity in the art space and celebrating community. Visit our Instagram: mvnhs_artfair24.
