Our students and teachers have been working really hard this year to increase students' skill set and mastery of content! It's showtime! Soon, our 2nd - 5th grade students will take the Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Program (ACAP) exams. This covers Reading/Language Arts and Math (along with Science for 4th grade). These exams are taken in the classroom on school-issued devices. It is super important for student to be PRESENT and ON TIME during the testing period. Students that arrive after 8:15 will not be allowed in the testing environment. Please note specific testing dates below:

HOW CAN PARENTS SUPPORT US?

• Ensure that your child gets a full night of sleep.

• If eating at home, make sure your child eats breakfast. If eating at school, make sure he/she arrives on time for school breakfast.

• Make sure your child is present and on time every day for testing.

• Encourage your child every day to do his/her very best on the exams.

• We are not allowed to have any smart devices in the classroom during testing. (Examples: cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.)
