Horizon Principal Message (Dec/Jan)
Dear Students, Parents, and Staff of Horizon Elementary School,
As we approach the end of our calendar year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the journey we have shared together during the start of my first year as your Principal at Horizon Elementary School and express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and commitment to excellence.
On Tuesday, December 17, the School Board approved me to become the full time Principal at Horizon Elementary. As I tell everyone, the circumstances which led me here were very unfortunate with the passing of Mr. Helmer. His legacy still lives on and we continue to feel his presence and positive impact in our building! Please know I am grateful for the opportunity of officially becoming the Principal and I hope to continue to support the students and staff to the best of my abilities moving forward!
The holiday season is a time for celebration, reflection, and togetherness! It is also a time when we can pause, connect with loved ones, and find joy in the company of those who matter most to us.
To our students, you are at the heart of everything we do. Your enthusiasm, curiosity, and dedication to learning have been a constant source of inspiration for all of us. As we break for the holidays, I encourage you to take this time to recharge, reflect on your achievements, and set new goals for the upcoming year. Remember, your potential is limitless, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
To our parents and guardians, thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. Your partnership and involvement have been integral to the success of our school community. Your unwavering support, whether it be through volunteering, attending events, or simply being there for your children, has made a significant impact on their growth and development. Please take this holiday season to reflect, relax and enjoy precious moments with your loved ones.
To our dedicated staff, you are the backbone of our school. Your passion, expertise, and commitment to nurturing our students' minds and hearts are truly commendable. Your tireless efforts in creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment have helped shape our students into compassionate and well-rounded individuals. I am grateful for your hard work and unwavering dedication.
As we step into the new year, let us carry the spirit of unity, resilience, and kindness that defines our school community. Let us continue to foster a love for learning, embrace our differences, and strive for excellence in all that we do. Together, we will overcome any obstacles that come our way and continue to provide an exceptional education for our students.
On behalf of the entire Horizon family, I wish you all a joyful and peaceful holiday season. May it be filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with your loved ones and may the coming year bring new opportunities, personal growth, and success in all your endeavors.
Mr. Mueller
Principal
