Dear Families - Read on for the News
Thank You to Our Donors!
We have raised $10,710 through Idaho Gives toward our annual appeal goal of $15,000! Thank you so much to all our donors and to our families and community members who contribute in so many ways. We will continue to raise funds through the month of May. Please go to palouseprairieschool.org/donate/ or click on the QR code to give.
As a public charter school we are unable to raise funds through bonds and levies, so we receive less funds than many public districts. Your contributions will help us 'go beyond' our EL education curriculum by adding more art, music and library services and completing our native Palouse Prairie landscaping. Thank you for continuing to prove our EL motto true, "We are CREW, not passengers, strengthened by acts of consequential service to others." Kurt Hahn
Gallery Night
Gallery Night will be held Thursday, May 30 from 5:30 to 6:45 pm in the multipurpose room. It will begin with a short chat from our Executive Director, Sara Beggs. The classrooms will be open for viewing student work from 5:45 to 6:45 pm.
Gallery Night is a school-wide event where families, community members, and school partners serve as an authentic audience. The purpose is to learn more about the work of the students, the school as a whole, and honor student learning.
Teacher Appreciation
We're excited to honor the incredible educators who make a difference in the lives of our students every day. The Parent Crew has decided to continue the tradition of catering a lunch, and we need your support to make it happen. Our teachers work tirelessly to educate, inspire, and empower our students. They go above and beyond to create engaging lessons, provide support, and foster a love for learning. Now, it's our turn to give back and show them just how much we appreciate everything they do.
Other ways to show appreciation:
Drop off a coffee or their favorite drink
A note of appreciation from your child and/or family.
Volunteer in their classroom during the end of school rush.
Gift Cards to Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc for classroom items.
Thank you for considering a donation to our Teacher Appreciation Day celebration. Your generosity is truly appreciated, and every contribution will make a difference in showing our teachers how much they mean to us! You can donate to me directly below or drop off donations at the school. Donations accepted through 5/17.
Thank you,
Heather Flynn (Parent Crew Co-Lead)

Email davidherb@yahoo.com
Free T-shirts
We have many Covey Day 2023 t-shirts in the office. If you or your student did not receive one, please email the office or stop by to pick one up. If you'd like to get one for someone else, feel free! Leftover t-shirts will be donated at the end of the school year.
