As we see more students enjoying the benefits of riding bikes and scooters to school, I want to take a moment to remind everyone about the importance of safety on the roads and sidewalks. Please remind your children to always wear helmets, follow traffic rules, and be mindful of pedestrians and other riders. We encourage students to use designated bike lanes whenever possible and to park bikes and scooters in the appropriate areas on campus.
Let’s work together to keep our students safe as they travel to and from school!
I have included some wonderful graphics and organizers to show your students and help with family conversations about bike/scooter safety.
Important Information Regarding Chromebooks
Students will need to bring their Chromebooks - to school for daily use. We will NOT have extras in the classroom for students to use so it is IMPERATIVE they remember to charge and bring each day.
It is recommended that families purchase insurance for their student's Chromebooks. The cost is $22.95 https://securranty.com/mdusd here is a link to purchase insurance.
Donations Accepted
We are so lucky to have our Library open everyday at Brunch and Lunch for students to enjoy. We are finding that pieces of our board games are missing. If you have board games you no longer use (with all pieces) or if you would like to donate new board games we will gladly accept them.
Uno, chess and board games of all kinds are wildly popular and a great way for students to have fun and interact during unstructured time.
School Donations at the Foothill MS Webstore
Foothill Middle School appreciates the support families provide through donations for our classes. All Donations are collected through the Foothill MS Webstore, found at that link or on our homepage.
- Donations provide materials, which include licensing, software programs, and supplies; this is especially true of elective classes.
- All the materials (whether tangible or not) are designed to aid students in learning and developing their skills.
- These are ONLY for Foothill MS students. Donations do not feed into the District funds.
- All donations are tax deductible (tax ID#68-0091157). Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
