School Announcements
🎵MUSIC AND MOCHA -Thursday, 2/20 @ 5:30pm in the TJMS Cafeteria.
This event features 6th-8th grade members of band and choir for a night of live music, food and raffle baskets! Raffle baskets are an integral part of our event, and they serve as a fun way to raise funds for our music department. Each class has picked a theme for a basket they would like to see raffled off. Each theme showcases a variety of suggested items. Sign up to help us out!

Also, we are seeking volunteers for the event to donate food, work the food table, help with set-up and tear down, etc... Sign up HERE to help in those areas!
BOOK FAIR - The TJ Book Fair is Open Feb 17th - 20th! Students may shop before or after school
Open 7:15-7:30AM and 2:44-3PM The fair will also be open during Music & Mocha Night! Thursday, Feb 20th from 5:30-8PM

TRIVIA NIGHT IS BACK! - Trivia Night at TJMS will take place on Monday, February 24th!! (5:30-6:30pm)...Student teams of 4-6 from the same grade level will compete (Limited to 30 teams, so form your teams quickly!! - Team Forms are available from Homeroom Teachers)..If your student will participate, please fill out the PERMISSION FORM -- PLEASE HAVE THE TEAM CAPTAIN TURN IN ALL FORMS and $5 FEE FOR YOUR TEAM AT THE SAME TIME!
8th GRADE YEARBOOK ADS - Its time to purchase an 8th Grade Yearbook Ad! DUE FEBRUARY 11,2025! This is an opportunity to share a photograph of a younger version of your child or a picture that has special meaning along with a heartfelt message. Families may purchase ONE ad for your 8th-grade student. Please complete the form, attach an image, and drop off your $20.00 payment, labeled YEARBOOK PARENT AD (include student's first and last name), to the TJMS Office by Tuesday, February 11 by 3:00 pm. 8th Grade Yearbook Parent Ad
🏊SWIMMING IN PE CLASS - Need: Students are responsible for their own swim suit (Girls, this should be a one piece suit. If you don't have one, a shirt/tank top should be worn over your suit). Swim things go home daily so please bring a plastic bag to transport your towel and swimsuit. If you would like goggles, plan on providing those as well. We do have some lost/found goggles, but they tend to disappear or end up broken.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP - The Second Tuesday of each month at 7:00am in the Choir Room (NEXT MEETING IS TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11th). If you are interested but don't have transportation, please see Mrs. Johnson for other ways to participate. A great opportunity to share your school spirit and plan all-school events and activities! 🗿CHESS CLUB - All TJMS students are welcome to join Chess Club! Mrs. LaJoice and Mrs. Levy are the advisors. Chess club meets on Tuesdays (through March 11th) from 3pm - 4pm in the TJMS library. Please see this PERMISSION FORM or contact Mrs. LaJoice (262-268-6245) for more information. Chess club runs through March 11th.
