Dear Parents/Guardians,

This week we are celebrating Read Across America week! To celebrate, every student in the building will be getting a book. This year's book is What if You Could Sniff Like a Shark. Classes will be reading the book together and each student will bring home a book to keep this Friday.

I encourage you to listen to your child read at home and take the time to read to your child and ask questions about the story you are reading. It is not only quality time well spent, but helps them be successful readers as well!
