Week in Review
Some positives and negatives happened this past week. First the positives...
We went on our first swimming and library trip of the year and it was great! Students had a great time swimming and visiting the library.
We start our screenwriting which will be eventually *hopefully* turned into a script that we will act out for all of you either at the Christmas Concert or at the End of the Year Concert. We are being supported by a publish writer so I am quite hopeful that we can write something amazing that will impress all of you!!
One negative...we've had to close the Hall for the time being due to situations among the students. Anita and I are working on solutions and the Hall will reopen with a new plan the first week of November. I'll text you the details when we're developed the program.
This Week
Halloween this year at KLS has been designed by the students! We did a community building circle and what we will do on Halloween has been picked by the students. I only have one question on the movie selection as I haven't seen the movie and can't get it delivered in time. Perhaps one of you has it but either way it needs to be approved by all parents. I'll send you a text on it on Monday.
Other than that we have a few very cool Connected North sessions planned for the students as well as all the amazing stuff we are doing in school and through our On the Land program.
