Using the Library
Destiny Library Catalog: Our Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is Destiny Discover. You can access Destiny through the library page on our school website or directly using the following link:
You can search our print, ebook, and audiobook collection through Destiny Discover.
Searching for books by genre: The fiction section of the library is organized by genre. Please ask Mrs. King or Ms. Chavez for assistance finding materials.

Policies and Procedures
Textbooks: All students are required by law to have a copy of each textbook checked out (ELA, History, and some Elective classes). The Math and Science textbooks are worktexts that are checked out by the library. See the flyers below for more detailed information about textbooks.
Computers/Chromebooks/Printing: Students must check in at the circulation desk PRIOR to using the computers or Chromebooks in the library. Students may print school assignments from the designated printing station. Students must have a signed pass to use the library during class time.
Library Books: Students may check out up to 4 library books at a time. The check out period is 3 weeks (with the exception of Manga, which is 1 week).
Please return or renew materials in a timely manner.
Online Databases
We highly encourage our students to use online databases for research at school and at home. Links to the databases can be found on the Library page on our school website.
K-12 Online Content Project: The California State Library is now offering access to ProQuest, Britannica, Gale, and TeachingBooks.net online resources. Students will sign in using their school Google account. Links can be found on the home page in Destiny Discover.

Makerspace
The Makerspace is located in Room 303. The goal of this space is to encourage students to explore areas of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).
It will be open select lunch periods beginning in October. Watch for announcements!
