A note from Ms. Watts, Your Principal
What a great first week!
It has been wonderful to see so many families and students back in the building! We have missed you. I'd also like to take the opportunity to welcome the new families in our community. We have so many new students (in addition to kindergarteners) in our school this year! We welcome you to our Meadow Lakes family!
As we work through getting back into the routine of school, please know you can reach out to our staff or myself at any point with questions, comments, suggestions or concerns. We are here to make sure your child has the absolute best and most positive school experience possible. We seek to produce kids with high achievement, healthy self-esteem, and pro-social skills that will serve them through life. It's a strong partnership between home and school that helps us achieve that goal.
Our First PLC Monday is tomorrow!
Tomorrow, 8/22/22, is our first week with the delayed start on Monday. Remember, our staff district-wide are using the first hour of school on Mondays to work together to focus on improving instruction and student achievement.
Students can be dropped off at 10:05 a.m. on Mondays. Buses will have later pick up times (typically an hour later than the Tues-Fri pick up time). School will start for all kids at 10:15 a.m.
Dismissal time remains the same at 3:45 p.m. every day throughout the week.
Have questions? Check out the website or call us at (907) 352-6100.
We need your input!
We would love to get community input and feedback regarding recess for students in our school. If you've got about two minutes to spare, could you please complete the survey found here?
