A message from the principal
Hello AMSA Families,
The Anoka community is proud to be the “Halloween Capital of the World,” and the home of many fun Halloween events throughout the month of October. This year at Anoka Middle School for the Arts, we highlighted the history of this legacy through announcements and a bulletin board to help students learn about their community.
To recognize our town’s history, students have the opportunity to participate in “Orange and Black Day” on October 31st. On this day, students can show spirit by wearing Orange, Black, and other school-appropriate Halloween clothing. We will review expectations with students next week, which include: no costumes, face paint, fake blood, or props. All school rules and dress codes still apply. Thank you for helping our students find appropriate ways to show school spirit and Anoka pride!
