Region 14 BOE/District Goals
- Academic Performance - The district will strive to improve academic performance for all students on multiple assessment indicators and the staff will be committed to continuous improvement.
- Communication - Region 14 will develop partnerships with all stakeholders in the school community to highlight the exemplary programs the district offers.
- Safety - Region 14 will provide safe and secure facilities equipped with technology, enabling a 21st century learning environment that supports the values of the district.
- Budget - Region 14 will prepare a budget that meets the needs of every student and communicates the needs and priorities of Region 14 in a clear and concise manner.

Greetings BES families,
Congratulations to our Dr. Seuss Reading and Poster Contest winners. Shown at left are Mr. Murphy and Mrs. Y presenting awards to two of our recipients, Quentin Taylor and Katherine Searles. Thank you to our generous PTO for the prize bags! We had a wonderful theme week, culminating in a Reading Rally on Friday focusing on Dr. Seuss.

Thursday, March 14 is Pi Day! Woohoo! MES and BES are teaming up to celebrate our second annual Pi Day Celebration with exciting activities. Atttached below are the Pi Day trivia questions if students would like to get a head start!!
The Student of the Month Breakfast will be held Thursday, March 21st at 9 AM for awardees in January and February and their families!
On Thursday, March 21st Mr. Murphy will present the Region's proposed budget for next year at 6 PM in the Library. Please see the announcement attached below for details.
The BES Talent Show will be on April 4, 2024! Students in grades 2-5 have auditioned and we are happy to report we are loaded with talent and all received a "golden ticket" to the BES Talent Show!
When EdAdvance opens up their registration for afterschool care for next year, they will also be offering before school care. The before school care will run from 7:00 to 8:15 AM. For those who live in Bethlehem or attend BES, there will be a bus that will transport students from MES to BES. Please look for the flyers that EdAdvance will be sending out soon.
