April Character Strong Trait - Courage
We are excited to focus on the character trait of Courage in April. Courage is choosing what is right, helpful, and kind, even when it is scary or hard. Courage helps our children to be strong mentally and emotionally.
We have all demonstrated courage in our own lives. Stories are powerful tools for connecting as a family. This month, save some time to connect as a family by sharing stories of when each of you showed courage, in the face of fear, anxiety, or danger.
You can also talk about courage by asking each family member to share acts of courage they have witnessed or by sharing stories of when acts of courage have challenged each of you.
Enjoy discussing and sharing examples and ideas of how to be brave and show courage!
