Principal's Message
Dear ORCA Families,
We hope this message finds you well. As we move forward through this season, we want to remind you of the continued importance of consistent school attendance. Regular attendance helps your child stay on track academically, build meaningful social connections, and develop positive routines that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
Additionally, we’d like to inform you that the Mid-Year (MOY) assessment window will open from December 9th through December 20th. During this time, it’s especially important for your child to be present and on time, ready to demonstrate what they’ve learned so far this year. These assessments are a key part of tracking their progress and ensuring we continue to provide the best support for their growth.
We understand that occasional absences are sometimes unavoidable. If your child will miss school, please be sure to notify the office as soon as possible. When possible, we encourage scheduling appointments outside of school hours to minimize disruptions to their learning.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership in supporting your child’s education. Together, we can continue to foster their success and growth.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Herrera
Principal

At Wagner-Holt, we are proud to uphold our ORCA expectations, which guide students to be their best every day. We ask for your support at home in reinforcing these expectations. By discussing these guidelines regularly with your child and modeling these behaviors, you can help them understand the importance of being a safe, responsible, and engaged member of our school community.
Together, we can ensure that Wagner-Holt remains a positive environment for learning and growth. Thank you for being an essential part of our ORCA family!

Dismissal in Front of our School
Dear Parents,
To ensure a smooth and safe drop-off and pick-up experience for all, we kindly ask you to follow these protocols:
- Parking: If you are waiting to pick up your child, please park your car. This helps maintain the flow of traffic and avoids congestion.
- No Blocking: Please do not block the handicap parking spaces or stand on the driveway, as these areas need to remain accessible at all times.
- Pick-Up Location: Wait for your child on the sidewalk by the main gate.
Thank you for your cooperation and helping us create a safe and efficient environment for everyone.
Dismissal on Waudman Avenue
As we continue into the second quarter, we want to emphasize the importance of safety for all our students. We’ve observed some students crossing Waudman Avenue outside of designated crosswalks while rushing to their vehicles.
Ensuring the safety of your child remains our top priority. We kindly ask you to encourage your child to use the crosswalks and avoid jaywalking, as it significantly reduces safety risks.
Thank you for your cooperation in creating a safer school environment.
Everyday Counts Attendance
Every school day is a chance for your child to grow, learn, and shine! 🎉 Each day is packed with fun lessons and activities that help build important skills and knowledge. When they’re in class, they’re making big strides toward success and staying on track in their learning journey.
Let’s keep teaming up to make every day an amazing one for our students! Thank you for being such a fantastic part of their educational adventure—we couldn’t do it without you! 😊✨

District Approved Information
Parent Climate Survey
Dear Lodi Unified School District Parents and Guardians,
Each year, the district desires to obtain community input to measure parent and family engagement, including how well the district builds relationships between school staff and families, builds partnerships for student outcomes, and seeks input for decision-making. Each year the district collects this information in part using the Parent Climate Survey. This survey also helps determine the allocation of services included in the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), and is used to evaluate the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) for each Title I school site. It is a valuable source of information, and we hope that you take the time to answer thoughtfully. The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. The survey will be available from December 9th to December 20th. This link will take you to the survey. Your responses will remain anonymous.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback!
