The Lindsey Letter

The month of November flew by quickly. Within this month, we held another and Falcon Family Fun Night and our first Student of the Quarter event. Please see the pictures below.

December will also be a short month in that our students will only be in school for three weeks until Winter Break. The week of December 9th, we will have our second iReady diagnostic test for all students. This test will determine their growth in reading and math. In addition, we will have a Winter Spirit Week, and Winter Concert right before the Winter Break. Please see the Month at a Glance.

Friday, December 20th will be a Minimum Day in which students will be released at 1:10 PM.

Below is the schedule for our boys basketball and girls track events. Any student must be accompanied by an adult to participate.

Boys Basketball

Tuesday, December 3rd - Lindsey at Nelson - 3:30 PM

Thursday, December 5th - Lindsey at Marshall - 3:30 PM

Monday, December 9th - Lindbergh at Lindsey - 3:30 PM

Semifinals - Wednesday, December 11th

Finals - Saturday, December 14th - Millikan HS

Girls Track

Saturday, December 7th at Wilson HS - 8 AM

Wednesday, December 11th - All City Championships - Wilson HS - 4 PM

If you are the parent of an English Learner (EL), please join our ELAC committee on Monday, December 16th in Room 108. We have fun while getting familiar with ways to support our EL students.

Please joint us for our next School Site Council meeting on Tuesday, December 17th at 3 PM. It is a public meeting, and everyone is welcomed to attend.

Winter Break will be December 23rd through January 3rd. There will be no school during these two weeks.
