Andrew Ramos - Class of 2021
This began his academic journey much like any other student, adjusting to the rigorous curriculum and organizational demands. However, as he progressed, his passion for history became evident. He started taking history and anthropology courses at the local community college, excelling in his studies and solidifying his ambition to become a history teacher.
By the time Andrew finished high school, he had already completed six general education classes toward his associate's degree at Clovis Community College. He spent an additional year at the community college before transferring to UC Berkeley, where he recently graduated with a BA in Anthropology.
Post-graduation, Andrew had the incredible opportunity to work on an archaeology project in Spain, where he exhumed and analyzed human remains. Learn more about his project here: https://aditufieldschool.weebly.com/what-we-have-done-so-far.html
This fall, he will be embarking on a new academic adventure, moving to Buffalo, New York, to begin a PhD program in archaeology at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
We are proud of Andrew’s accomplishments and look forward to seeing his future contributions to the field of archaeology and education.
