ALL BULLDOG

Thanks to Emily Gartner and JAG-K for the invitation to the Initiation and Installation Ceremony Sunday at Landoll Lanes here in Marysville. Not only did I get to see our new officers installed, but I also got to see the new students initiated into JAG-K where they will be exploring careers and doing community volunteering. I also got to hear a great message from guest speaker, Courtney Porter, talk about doing the little things like making your bed every morning, saying "good morning", and engaging your leaders in conversation. It was great advice for this group of students but also for the adults in the room. Doing the little things can make a big difference. Nice job everyone!

The FFA hosted their annual Elementary Ag Day Friday for the elementary students from MES. There was something for everyone with educational sessions, petting zoos, large equipment, large animals, and ag related crafts. It was a fun day with beautiful weather. The students did a great job teaching our younger students all about the many parts of agriculture. Nice job!

Junior High - Brielle Pacha is a 7th grader who is polite, hardworking, and respectful to adults and peers. She has strong grades, is creative, and interested in learning.

High School - Isobel Chrisco is an excellent student both academically and morally. She frequently helps her classmates when they're struggling, and is a model student in her hour.

Students in Mr. Hornung's American History Class were in costume last week as they enlightened their classmates about characters from American History and then had to defend questions about them when asked by those same classmates. It was quite educational and entertaining for all in the room!
