The Kindness Club at Sullivan High School has been chosen as the 3rd quarter recipient by 100 Women Who Care Sullivan County! Club sponsors Mrs. Hollis and Mrs. Couch are overjoyed and can't wait to put these funds to work, continuing their mission of spreading kindness among students and staff at SHS. We're so grateful for community organizations that support positive initiatives in our schools.

• There are signup sheets for students who are interested in joining the SMS Jr Beta Club. 6th grade will sign up with Mrs. Andre', 7th grade with Mrs. Davis, and 8th grade with Mrs. Bement. You must have all A's and B's and be in good standing to join.
• Sept. 11th-Fannie May Candy Fundraiser begins.
• Sept. 13th-Club & National Dues must be paid.
• Sept. 16th-Founder’s Day T-shirt and Pin order & money due ($15 + $5).
• Sept. 25th-Fannie May Fundraiser ends, orders & money are due.
• Sept. 25th-New Member Induction Ceremony at 6pm in the Multi-Purpose Room

• 8/28-Wabash Valley Community Foundation scholarship will close for the upcoming school year. Many scholarships will come through this application, including the Lilly and the Sherman Endowment among others. Reach out to Katie Couch if you need assistance (kcouch@swest.k12.in.us).

• SHS students can take advantage of free tutoring from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Freshman student council forms can be picked up in the SHS office for those interested in running for office.

• 8/26- FFA soil judging practices will start right after school at the high school for any student that is interested.
  
• 8/30-SMS 8th Grade River Raft trip forms are due.
• 8/30- Kindness club forms are due. If you want to help your school and your community, consider joining the SMS Kindness Club. Students will participate in school and community events to spread kindness and hope. If you are interested, questionnaires are available at the information table near the front office.
  
• 9/11-School Smiles mobile dentistry program will be available for SMS students! There will be registration forms on the table outside the office, or you may register online by using THIS LINK. Private insurance and Medicaid are accepted, and grants are also available! Take advantage of this opportunity today! • Mrs. Vicars is asking middle school students to email her photos from school events for the 2024-25 yearbook. You can email photos to Mrs. Vicars at cstone@swest.k12.in.us.
• 7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball will have Open Gym every Monday from 3pm to 4:30pm in the SMS Gym. This is open to any girl interested in playing Basketball.
• 7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball will have Open Gym every Tuesday & Thursday, from 7pm to 8:30pm. This is open to any boy interested in playing Basketball.
