Thank you for your continued support of your child's education. We wanted to take a moment to share some important updates regarding this semester.

Students will be responsible for more independent work in the classroom. As they transition to this increased independence, you may notice changes in their grades. In the first semester, we provided more direct support by pulling students to the table to redo assignments or reviewing them as a class. This semester, assignments that need to be redone will be sent home, and students will have the opportunity to return them for a grade of 70.

We appreciate your understanding as we encourage our students to take more ownership of their learning.

Beanstack is a reading app awarded by ROISD Education Foundation to ROISD librarians. Beanstack can be downloaded and used at home to encourage a love for reading.

Schedules are approximate and possibles changes could be made based on school and classroom needs such as safety drills, assemblies, and testing schedules.
