We are Super Excited about our Kennerly Read-athon Fundraiser! Let's GO!!
Kennerly's Read-athon & Unity Week! - What an Awesome combination!
Good morning Kennerly families!
We are excited to kick off two important school wide events! Our Read-athon and Unity Week!
For our schoolwide Read-a-thon, this is an amazing opportunity to foster a love of reading while raising funds to support our students and teachers! Reading opens doors to new worlds, builds knowledge, and strengthens important skills that last a lifetime. This fundraiser not only encourages students to dive into books but also connects families around a shared goal of supporting our school. The funds raised will provide opportunities for student enrichment and enhance classroom resources. Let’s come together to make this Read-a-thon a success and inspire our students to keep turning the pages!
As for our Unity Week, this is a special time for students and staff to come together and stand against bullying. We believe that every child deserves to feel safe, both physically and emotionally, and that bullying has no place in our school community. Throughout the week, students will engage in discussions on the importance of standing up and speaking out against bullying. They will also pledge to honor and celebrate the similarities and differences that make our community strong. As part of Unity Week, each student will participate in an act of kindness and set a goal to "choose kind" every day. Let's unite to ensure that our school remains a welcoming and respectful place for all!
We are proud and blessed to be part of wonderful community and school district!
