Cane's Day
February 19th
If you ordered a Cane's lunch via PTA last week, orders will be delivered to students on Feb. 19th at lunch.
The box will include 3 chicken fingers, Texas toast, fries and one sauce.
Drinks will not be provided.

Reminders from Nurse Erdin
Parents of 6th grade students:
If your child has received the Tdap and Meningitis vaccines that are required by the state for 7th grade, please email me a copy of the vaccine record. You may also bring in a copy to the front office. I will then update their records for the upcoming school year.

Injuries
If your child sustains an injury outside of school, please notify me via email (lauren.erdin@springbranchisd.com) or phone at 713-251-4425. By doing so, I can notify teachers and help them navigate getting to/from classes safely.
No Uber Eat or Door Dash
Students should either pack a lunch from home or purchase food in the cafeteria. Forgotten lunches must be dropped off by a parent/guardian. No Door Dash or Uber Eats will be accepted.
CIT Community Member or Business Member Needed-2025-26
Would you like to get involved?
For next school year, we need a new Community Member and or Business member for our CIT.
A community member is defined as "a person 18 years of age or older residing in the attendance area of this school, but not a person who is a parent of a student enrolled in this school or a person who is an employee of this school or school district."
A business representative is defined as "s defined as “having a regular and supportive relationship with the students at this school through a program like Partnerships in Education (PIE).” *I am not required to live in this school district and the business I represent does not have to be in this school district."
If you know someone who would be a good fit, please pass this information along. Any questions regarding the role of a CIT member, please email me directly at catherine.pavone@springbranchisd.com.
CIT is a two-year commitment and comprised of 6 meeting a school year.
The application window opens Monday January 27 and are due no later than February 18 to the principal office (email is fine).
