It has been a beautiful few days here in Golden Panther Territory as early signs of Spring have certainly arrived! Taking a walk around the campus after school yesterday, it was awesome to see all of our spring sports athletes and coaches enjoying the weather as they started their seasons. Students were out riding bikes and you could hear music coming from the cars as they rode by with the windows down. Inside the building, our junior class, took the first step on their graduation pathway by completing the NJGPA assessments while the rest of our students continued progress toward the end of the third marking period.
These early Spring Days most definitely get us thinking about warmer weather ahead and the crazy sprint to the end of the school year. With Spring Break and senior events on the horizon, there will be a tendency for students to want to relax, to slow down or to say "ah, it's just about over." Continuing to maintain routines, high expectations and standards of excellence inside and outside of the classroom and at home will be critical. We always appreciate the support from the parents and it will need to continue to be a team effort as we gear up for Spring. A month ago when the groundhog said that Spring would come early, let's hope it is true! #nocknation
