January 27 2025
We're excited for a full week of school ahead! After a series of unexpected weather disruptions, we're hopeful that the extreme cold days are behind us. There's something special about the rhythm of a full week—getting into a routine, diving into lessons, and making progress on projects. It's always nice when we can all be together in the classroom, engaging and learning without interruptions. So, here's to a smooth, uninterrupted week of growth and discovery—fingers crossed.
Yearbooks are for sale right now through HR IMAGING. This is the only time to order. Envelopes were sent home last week. The sale runs now through February 7th. RESERVE YOUR YEARBOOK NOW FOR ONLY $16.OO EACH AT book.hrimaging.com Order deadline February 7, 2025. Yearbooks typically arrive in May.
Get ready for Neon Day on Friday, January 31st! SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY!!! It's all about having fun and showing off your brightest, boldest colors, so let's go all out! Favorite colors!!
Here are some fun ideas from our students:
- Hats: Neon-colored beanies, visors, or even a neon headband to light up your look.
- Socks: Go wild with neon socks—mix and match bright colors for extra flair!
- Shorts: Neon pants or shorts, whether they’re comfy athletic ones or fun patterns, are perfect for the day.
- T-shirts: A bright neon or colorful T-shirt, or even one with a fun graphic design in neon shades—don’t be afraid to go all-in!
- Shoes: Neon sneakers, crocs, or slip-ons will totally complete the look. The brighter, the better!
Remember, the goal is to be as bright and vibrant as possible, and to have fun showing off your school spirit. So get creative, and let’s light up the school together!
Important reminder: STAY WELL !! There have been several cases of flu diagnosed in the school. According to the CDC, influenza (also known as the flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness. The flu is different from a cold. The flu usually comes on suddenly. People who have the flu often feel some or all of these symptoms:
Fever* or feeling feverish/chills
Cough
Sore throat
Runny or stuffy nose
Muscle or body aches
Headaches
Fatigue (tiredness)
Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea
**** It’s important to note that not everyone with flu will have a fever
Parent-Teacher Conferences: Let's Connect!
This week (January 28), we will be hosting our second round of Parent-Teacher conferences, which is the perfect time to check in on your child’s progress as we approach the midpoint of the second semester. These conferences are a wonderful opportunity to come together and discuss your child’s growth, strengths, and areas for continued development. If you were unable to attend the last round of conferences, we highly encourage you to make plans to join us this time.We will be contacting you to do so. It is incredibly important that we work together as a team to support your child’s success. We believe in the power of partnership between home and school, and your involvement is key to your child’s learning journey.
Volunteer????We have folks wanting to volunteer in our school or perhaps attend upcoming field trips or parties. Please complete these forms as part of our security process formality. Once we get the form back approved, we will get everyone board approved. :) All for the safety of our children. ........either one of these links work....
