Spanish Consulate Visit
Since 2023, The GLOBE Academy has had the wonderful opportunity to host Auxiliares—Spanish Language and Culture Assistants—who support small group instruction and enrich cultural exploration. Last Friday, Sra. Herrero, the Education Advisor from the Spanish Consulate, visited GLOBE to observe our program and to discuss the possibility of official recognition by the Spanish government.
We have appreciated the contributions of our Language Support Assistants whose dedication have greatly benefited our students. As Kindergarten through 5th grade students transition to a new building over the next two years, we will take a short pause from the Auxiliares program to bring in full-time employees for these roles. We are grateful for the partnership with the Spanish Consulate and look forward to continued collaboration and support as our school continues to grow.
A special thank you to our Host Family Liaison, Ms. Daphna Malka, and our Director of Operations, Ms. Jen Parker for their help and support this year!
