The Alberta Construction Training Institute (ACTI) located in Edmonton and Calgary is a training company with a combined experience of over 100 years in Construction, Engineering and Management training fields. ACTI instructors have been instructing health, safety, management and engineering training in Alberta for over 20 years. Junior Forest Rangers
The JFR program is an incredible summer employment opportunity for high school students in Alberta, as well as post-secondary students or graduates from across the country (and beyond). JFR is a provincially run program under the Wildfire Management Branch in the Ministry of Forestry, Parks, and Tourism. We have up to 9 crews stationed in the 10 different forest areas across the province. Each crew consists of a Crew Leader, Sub Leader, and 6 Crew Members. Our crews live on an Alberta Wildfire base, and every day they take part in a wide variety of hands-on work projects and educational opportunities.

Next Step Summer School
Next Step Summer School runs for 20 days through the month of July to help students get caught up or get ahead of their high school studies. Courses are offered in person and online to students who have completed Grade 9 and up to the age of 19. All core classes, CALM, Physical Education and some option courses are offered.
Next Step also offers Diploma Exam Preparation Courses in January and June.

The Office to Advance Women Apprentices Alberta Office was created to engage and support tradeswomen working in Skilled Trades in the province of Alberta.
The Office mandate is to offer support and increase employment opportunities for tradeswomen and women entering Skilled Trades in Alberta. We offer a registry database of female tradespersons identifying trade, level of apprenticeship, employment status, resumes, travel availability, etc. Our work includes:
- Connecting tradeswomen to employers
- Career services, employment supports, and networking opportunities for tradeswomen,
- Engaging and building partnerships with key stakeholders including employers, trades unions, and training providers to improve participation and success of women in the trades, and

RCMP Telecommunications Operator Recruiting
Telecommunications operators are the first person a caller speaks to when calling 9-1-1 or requesting police assistance. Operators have to keep callers calm during emergencies to gather as much information as possible and help ensure both public and officer safety.
