Eat at Hawaiian Bros on Tuesday, then come to the Band Booster Meeting! The meeting begins at 7:00 PM in the Band Hall. Enter through the health science doors.

The Wylie High School Band Boosters have taken on a big task this year with supporting almost 50 students with private lesson student aid. To continue this great program, we require additional funds to keep the program going through the rest of the school year. We give $15-25 in student aid to students depending on financial need. A gift of $240 would help sponsor a student that receives partial student aid for the rest of the school year.

PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE SECTIONALS

• THIS FRIDAY'S SECTIONAL IS MADIBA. We will focus on the solo section!!

• ALL sectionals are from 7 - 8:15 AM.
• Communicate (via email) about any conflicts ASAP. Each ensemble only has about 8 rehearsals, so we need everyone present to maximize rehearsal time.
• Our guest artist is Nicholas Rothouse! He is a percussion specialist located in the Dallas area who has played with Tom Misch, Maggie Rogers, and the Kill Tony Band.

Congratulations Junior Guard and Junior Varsity Guard for amazingly beautiful performances at Little Elm this past Saturday! Both groups took 1st place in their classification! We are so proud of your efforts and look forward to future performances!

I HAVE A PLAN! was a great success! We had several 8th graders stop by the band hall to visit, and they were well-informed about how band and other activities work at WHS! Thank you for being encouraging starting at our side-by-side concert and through this evening.
