Rewards/Incentives

Each month, you will receive information regarding PBIS, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. This month, your child can earn a variety of incentives through the PBIS program for demonstrating respectful, responsible, and safe behavior.

Monthly Rewards: Prize to Take Home, Rent a Fidget, Pick a Reward Coupon, Barista Service

3:2:1 Reward (1 or less unlawful absences, missing assignments and discipline referrals): Glow Party!

Cafeteria and Hallway prizes vary based on the number of times classes were rewarded for respectful, responsible, and safe behaviors.

Girls Biddy Basketball

World Kindness Day is November 13 and is a day to celebrate the importance of kindness. You never know the impact of a kind gesture, word, or action. It's cool to be kind! Help us spread kindness this month at home, at school, and in our community. No act of kindness is too small!

Native American Heritage Month, also referred to as American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month, is a time to celebrate and acknowledge the history and important contributions of Native Americans.

If you are unfamiliar with the contributions and culture, a good place to start celebrating is to take a virtual field trip, read a few books and look through some resources to learn about important leaders, contributions to American society, historical events, traditions, and cultural components, such as food, music, and art.

Come support our student musicians on Wednesday December 11! 4th Grade Chorus, 5th Grade Chorus, Band, and Orchestra will perform at 2:15 pm in an assembly, and at 6:00 pm for the evening concert. Performers arrive at 5:00 pm for the evening concert. Participating students are required to attend both times. We can’t wait to sing and play for you all again!

Power Packs is a program that provides families with the ingredients and recipes to provide your family with nutritious weekend meals. The Power Pack includes produce, milk, and some other pantry items. The program is free and distribution occurs weekly. Southwest's distribution site is Lebanon County Christian Ministries on Wednesday afternoons.

PowerSchool is a portal that is used to document student attendance and grades, along with many other features. Starting this year, it will be a means for collecting forms electronically to reduce the amount of paperwork sent home with your child.

If you have not done so already, please create an account or login to your existing account. The login information is the same as last year. There is now a "Forms" icon on the lefthand side. Please click on the icon and sign any current forms.

If your child is absent from school, please provide a parent or doctor's note within 3 days of your child returning to school. Notes can be turned into your child's teacher or the office and can also be submitted electronically by messaging Mrs. Sutton on ClassDojo or emailing Mrs. Sutton at the following email address: SW-Attendance@lebanon.k12.pa.us.
