Friendly Friday Update
The weekly newsletter for the FHMS Community - 1/26/24
Mr. Hiti's Message
We are getting ready for Spring Conferences at Friendly Hills. Conferences will be held on Thursday, February 22 (Virtual or in-person) and on Thursday, February 29 (Virtual.) We will be using a program called PTCFast to set appointments for conferences, please set your conferences as soon as possible. A separate email will be sent next week to all parents/guardians with more information and the link to PTCFast.
On another note, please remember that as you drop your students off and pick them up, you should be using the inside lane. We do not want students getting out of vehicles from the outside lane because they are immediately stepping out into traffic, and there is a significant chance your vehicle will be damaged. If you need more time, please use the parking spaces that are available. Thank you for wanting to keep our students safe!
Have a good week!

Attendance Notification Form
We now have an online form to submit absence notifications. Submitting this form fulfills calling in your student's absence. The attendance line will remain active at 651-403-7607, but this is another option for families.
You can view the form here (and bookmark it for future reference!), and it will also be linked on our school website.
Have You Taken the Family Survey Yet?
School District 197 is administering the Annual District Survey for families again this year. The survey link was emailed to all District parents/guardians on January 8 from our survey partner Panorama. The survey will be open through February 2. Taking the survey is optional, but all District parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to take it. The more feedback the district gets, the better we can meet the needs of students, families, and staff. The family survey is anonymous and takes about 20 minutes to complete. If you did not receive an email from Panorama with your unique survey link, please email district.communications@isd197.org. To learn more about our Annual District Survey, please visit our website.
