Getting Your Motor to Work!
You can use a motor that spins and spins or you can use a motor that spins, stops, and then reverses direction -- or you can use both:
- The rotational servo can rotate an arm from 0-180 degrees. You might program it to start at 70 degrees, pause for 2 seconds, then move to 110 degrees, pause for 2 seconds, and then repeat.
- There is also the continuous servo. These will spin in a direction continuously.
Wire your motor
Each wire connected to your servo has a different job and needs to be connected to the right spots on your Circuit Playground Express for it to work.
Code your motor
Use Makecode blocks to tell your motor what you want it to do:

Attaching a working motor into your arcade game requires skill to make it work well. Having some basic tools and techniques will help you design new ideas and problem solve with alternative solutions.
