Blacklick Related Arts Update!
Library in Grade 4
Fourth graders have been working hard on their country reports! They chose a country they wanted to research (any except the United States, since that was my example and they’re already experts on it). We are now getting ready to make them into posters that will be printed and hung on the wall for our Community Celebration in November. Look for your student’s work then!
Music in Grade 4
4th graders are learning Fall-themed songs and games, like Pass the Pumpkin Round and Round. Each student gets a chance to play the xylophone, rainstick, hand bells, boomwhackers, and gong during the activity!
Art in Grade 4
4th Graders have been learning how making art can serve as a way to manage stress and help our brain’s find moments of peace. We are learning how to Zentangle, which is an art form where objects and shapes are filled in with black and white patterns.
