Canby School District News

Welcome to the 2018-19 School Year!
Dear Canby Families:
We take our responsibility to provide the very best educational experiences for your students very seriously. We are constantly trying to improve our services to ensure all students reach their full potential. We also work to ensure all students have the same opportunities. Over the last four school years, I have implemented initiatives and practices to help us reach our goals. We committed to keeping class sizes low, adopting new curricula, and providing counseling at all schools. This year, we're once again providing basic school supplies for elementary students. And, we're pleased to be able to bring sports programs back to middle school.
I want you to know I am here to serve our students, their families, our staff, and our community. I want your feedback and hope you'll share your thoughts with me on how we can do better. We all share a responsibility for educating our students, and by working together we can achieve more. If I can improve your student's academic experience in any way, please contact me at goodallt@canby.k12.or.us. I know partnerships with parents are a key component to our success.
Now it's time to get your student back on that school year sleep schedule and to talk to them about the importance of coming to school every day! We are looking forward to opening our doors next week and welcoming you all back to CSD.
Best,
Trip Goodall

Academic Vision
We have created a plan that guides our work and drives decision-making in the district. This Vision is based on our foundational beliefs of academic achievement for all, embracing diversity, eliminating barriers to success, and partnerships with parents. Having a clear direction for the future of our district allows us all to work together to reach our goals of improving academic achievement, increasing family engagement, providing an equitable education for all, and ensuring the effectiveness of our educators.
