This Special Edition Newsletter is to highlight some of the incredible achievements and positive contributions within our school community. Our scholars have shown remarkable dedication and academic excellence! Additionally, we are proud of the collaborative spirit that defines our school, with parents, teachers, and scholars working together to create a vibrant and inclusive community, as evidenced by the FLICS Language Clubs coming together to welcome visitors from Japan. Let’s continue to celebrate these successes and strive for even greater heights!

Our Robotics Team participated in a competition last weekend in Royal Oak and competed in 5 matches where they won 3 and lost 2. They placed 12th overall. Take a look at some of the pictures from the event below.

FLICS was presented with two attendance awards from the 2033/24 school year at the October DPSCD Board of Education meeting. The awards were for:

1. Top 5 School for Average Daily Attendance of students (92.6%)
2. Top 5 % for Not Chronically Absent students (76.5%)

Our school community knows that academic achievement and attendance go hand in hand!
