Thank you to the PTA members who voted during our election. We are excited to to announce our PTA Board members for next school year:

• President: Krutika Prasad - "I will have a Kindergartener and a second grader this year. I was on the PTA board last year as a vice president and enjoyed planning and organizing events for kids & teachers. I would want to continue this year on the board as president to ensure we plan and execute fun activities for kids & support the school in the best way."

• Vice President: Joly Raju - "I have 3 kids; 2 of which will be at Builta next year. A 3rd grader & a Kindergartner. I would like to join the PTA stay informed about school happenings & advocate for our student needs. I would also like to build stronger community with other parents & teachers."

• Secretary: Katherine Dixon - "My husband and I have a son who will be starting first grade in the fall. I would like to plan fun and memorable events for the students. In doing so, I hope to help build the Builta community and create more opportunities for parents to connect and get involved in PTA events."

• Treasurer: Tuba Nafees - "I am interested in the treasurer position for two reasons- my professional accounting expertise can be of use and because I want to be able to contribute to my child’s education, not just at home but also at school. For the 2025-26 school year, I will have a 4th grader and a kindergartner at Builta. I have volunteered at the school on several occasions because I can see that giving my time makes a positive impact on the learning environment of our kids, my own child included."

• Events Chair: Mansi Joshi - "My daughter will be in 4th grade for the 2025-2026 school year. In past I have been a part of Builta PTA as an education enrichment chair and had the privilege of organizing STM fair and science fair. I had thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was hoping to do something similar for the coming year. As of now I am a stay at home mom and would like to be involved in my daughter’s school."
