Farnsley Archery Shines at 2025 KY State Tournament!
On March 14th, the Farnsley Middle School Archery Team competed in the Kentucky Middle School State Tournament, capping off their season with a strong showing. Out of 108 middle school teams from across the state, Farnsley finished 54th, showcasing both growth and competitive spirit on the big stage.
Leading the way for the Wildcats was Eli Laird, who shot an impressive 273, earning 32nd place out of 487 in the 7th Grade Boys Division. Eli’s consistent aim and calm under pressure placed him in the top ranks of his division, representing Farnsley with skill and determination.
Joining him with a standout performance was Skylar Adkins, who achieved a personal best score of 264, placing 60th out of 364 in the 6th Grade Girls Division. Skylar’s performance was a testament to her hard work all season long and her commitment to improving with every arrow.
The entire archery team showed incredible dedication throughout the season, and their success at state is a reflection of that effort. A special congratulations goes out to Coach Anthony Pardon and Coach Kellems for their guidance, encouragement, and countless hours of preparation behind the scenes. Their leadership continues to elevate Farnsley’s archery program and help our student-athletes thrive.
Congratulations to all our archers on an outstanding season! We are proud of your performance, sportsmanship, and the way you represented Farnsley Middle School. Keep aiming high, Wildcats!
Lady Wildcats Dominate Season Opener with 20-9 Victory Over Lassiter
The Farnsley Lady Wildcats softball team opened their 2025 season in dominant fashion, delivering a powerful 20-9 win over Lassiter Middle School on opening day.
From the first inning, the Lady Wildcats made it clear they came ready to play. With strong at-bats, aggressive baserunning, and tight defense, Farnsley kept the pressure on Lassiter throughout all innings of play.
Farnsley’s offense was on full display, piling up runs early and often. Clutch hits with runners in scoring position and smart base decisions helped the Wildcats build an insurmountable lead by mid-game.
Defensively, the team backed up their pitchers with solid communication and hustle, turning key outs that shut down Lassiter’s attempts to rally.
The Lady Wildcats look to continue their winning ways as they take on Echo Trail Tuesday and Southend Catholic Wednesday. Both games are at PRP High School starting at 7:30.
Farnsley Soccer Launches 2025 Season with Full Week of Action!
The Farnsley Wildcats Boys and Girls Soccer teams are ready to hit the pitch as the 2025 season officially kicks off this week. With four total games on the schedule, our athletes are geared up and eager to start strong.
The Girls Soccer Team will open their season at home on Monday, taking on Western Middle School at 5:30 PM. They’ll return to action Wednesday night, also on home turf, for a 6:45 PM showdown against Moore Middle School. After a strong preseason, the girls are excited to showcase their growth and determination.
The Boys Soccer Team will also play two games this week, starting with a home opener against Conway on Tuesday. The JV squad will start at 5:30 PM, followed by the Varsity game at 6:45 PM. On Wednesday, the boys will travel to Newburg Middle School for another JV/Varsity doubleheader, with game times once again at 5:30 and 6:45 PM.
Both teams have been putting in the work during preseason training, and it’s time to bring that energy and effort into game play. With strong leadership, rising talent, and a whole lot of Wildcat pride, the 2025 soccer season promises excitement from start to finish.
Come out, wear your blue and gold, and support our student-athletes as they represent Farnsley on the field this week. Let’s pack the sidelines and show what Wildcat Nation is all about!

Important Resources for Student-Athlete Parents
Below are two key resources we use to streamline communication and ensure district procedures for medical records are followed.
1. FinalForms: This web-based program allows you to upload your child’s medical information once, rather than yearly. It also lets you upload sports physical documents, keeping a copy for your records. FinalForms will send you reminders when documents are about to expire, and I will also use it to communicate with you via email.
2. Athletic Website: Our new athletic website, www.FarnsleyWildcats.com, provides updates on all sports and activities, as well as a calendar for all games and practices. You no longer need to call the school or rely on your child for schedule details. The site also sends notifications about any schedule changes.
Please see the attached instructions for registering with both FinalForms and Event Link, which houses
our website calendar.
Thank you for your attention to these tools.
