Principal Corner
Warm welcome!
Thank you all for the warm welcome as I began my role as Principal of this amazing learning community on Monday. I'm excited to work together and build on the wonderful things happening here at Larson Elementary!
Character Trait and Great 28
This month's focus is honor. The Great 28 we are focusing on is...
#20 - If someone bumps into you, even if it is not your fault, say, "Excuse me."
#5 - If you win, be humble. If you lose, practice good sportsmanship.
#27 - Always be honest.
Larson is a Polling Site
We were told that Larson is a polling site for the November 5th election. Since the safety of our students is our number one priority, we are using our staff room, which has a separate entrance. Furthermore, there will be security personnel near the entrance of the staff room. November 5th will function as a normal school day.
Larson's Spelling Bee Winners
Please congratulate our spelling bee winner, Audris Morin, and runner-up, Logan Lao! Audris will be moving onto the Lodi Unified School District Spelling Bee on November 4 at Vinewood Elementary.

Larson House System Brochure
Below is a link to a PDF that does a great job of explaining our house system and what the core of our school believes in engaging our students in a high quality education.
"The goal of the Larson House System and The Great 28 is to encourage a supportive and engaging environment for our students. Studies show that schools with house systems have happier, more engaged students and have more school spirit than they did before a house system was implemented."
