Updates for this week!
1.Character Strong Trait for April is COURAGE
We are excited to focus on Courage this month! One way to think about Courage is “choosing what is helpful, right, and kind even when it is hard or scary.”
Courage is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Strong. Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like focusing, organizing, and goal-setting.
2. Ecology News
Check out the new path that was installed by our desert garden! Thank you Greening Group!
State Testing Schedule
3. State Testing Has Started!
Hello CREW! It's that time of year where our students in Grades 3-5 participate in the state assessments We want to ensure that every student has the best possible experience.
Please take note of the following important details regarding the upcoming testing days:
-
Testing begins promptly at 9:00 am on the designated testing days. If a student arrives after 9:00 am, they will be placed in a non-testing classroom to assist as a helper until their homeroom class finishes testing. The student will then be scheduled for a Make Up Testing Day to complete the missed assessment.
-
Please do not schedule appointments or other commitments during your child’s testing days. If you already have an appointment or other plans, kindly reach out to your child’s teacher as soon as possible so we can make arrangements for a Make-Up testing day.
-
Once a student starts a test, they must finish it by the end of that same day. If a student leaves early for any reason, the test must be submitted at that time, regardless of whether or not it is completed.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us ensure a smooth and successful testing experience for all of our students. We greatly appreciate your support!
Please see the State Testing Schedule above!
We believe in our CREW and know our students are going to try their very best!
