Student Devices: Important Dates and Information
Dear East Brunswick Families,
As we approach the conclusion of the academic year, we would like to inform you about the end-of-year procedures for student devices. Specifically, regarding the return of devices for the graduating 4th-grade students who will be transitioning to a new building. It is important that these students return their assigned devices, along with all accompanying accessories, to their current building during the week of June 16th. Please ensure that both the device and its charger are included in the return. Any device not received by June 20th will result in a device fine of $251.
For the remaining 2nd and 3rd graders, who will soon become our esteemed 3rd and 4th graders, they will have the opportunity to take their devices home at the end of the year. This will allow them to adequately prepare for the upcoming academic term and be fully equipped on the first day of school.
Thank you.

3rd Grade Families....
Is your child interested in playing an instrument next year?? Current third graders in East Brunswick can sign up to play an instrument in their school's band or orchestra beginning in September of 2025. If you would like to find out more about this opportunity, stop by Hammarskjold Upper Elementary School with your child on Monday, June 2nd from 5pm-7pm to visit our Instrument Petting Zoo! Your child can look at and hold the various instruments and listen to demos by current instrumental students from HUES, CJHS and EBHS. Parents can also meet the band and orchestra teachers, the district music supervisor and our instrument rental vendors. Don't miss out on this great opportunity! See the attached flyer for more detailed information.

Change to East Brunswick 2024-2025 Calendar
We would also like to remind the community of some additional calendar changes for this school year.

Governor Murphy rescheduled the June 2025 Primary Election Date from June 3rd to June 10th.
The district has adjusted our school calendar as follows to accommodate this change.
Tuesday, June 3rd will now be a full day for all students with lunch served for students in grades K-12.
Tuesday, June 10th will now be a single session day for all students with lunch served in grades K-6.
