The Climb... Events at DKA this week!
Cycle 1 - Rewards trip
The 55 pupils who came on the cycle 1 rewards trip to the pantomime were impeccably behaved. The staff at the Alhambra stopped us on the way out to say how impressed they had been with their behaviour. Mrs Lang and I were really proud of you and happy so many of you appreciated the reward that you deserved.
Theatre Trip - 'A Christmas Carol'
Key Stage 4 students and staff enjoyed a belated festive theatre trip this week to see their English Literature GCSE text 'A Christmas Carol' live on stage at Leeds Playhouse. The production told the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge's transformation from miser to joyful philanthropist, with songs and dances aplenty. Everyone really enjoyed the production with plenty of giggles throughout and it was lovely to see students reciting quotations from the text as the actors spoke them on stage. Well done to all students who attended for their exemplary behaviour and enthusiasm for the trip.
