Bulldog Blast

Happy Friday BWE Families,

I hope you all had a fantastic summer filled with sunshine, relaxation, and maybe a few adventures. Can you believe that school starts in just twelve days? We are so excited to welcome our little bulldogs back for the 24-25 school year!

This edition of the blast has a bit of back-to-school information and there's much more to come. We're super excited for our first back-to-school dance and look forward to having a great time with our 1st-4th graders who can come. The event is for BWE students only, accompanied by a parent and both parent and student will need a ticket. New this year, we're hosting Puppy Camp, specifically for new to BWE, Life Skills, Pre-K, ECSE and Kinder students! ECSE, Life Skills, PK and Kinder students will also meet their teachers at this event. Meet the Teacher details for 1st -4th grade are below, along with our attendance policy, excessive heat guidelines, and a few BWE Basics.

Elementary school start times for our district have changed.

Summer break is over, but Texas summer heat is not. Below are our district's excessive heat guidelines, that govern our participation in outdoor activities, during high temperatures.

Students arriving after 7:55 a.m. are marked tardy.

Early check-out ends @ 2:30 p.m.

All transportation changes should be emailed to birnhamwoods@conroeisd.net.

Changes must be received by 2 p.m.
