2025-2026 School Year
8th Grade Meeting
On Tuesday, March 4, all 8th grade students traveled to the high school to receive curriculum and scheduling information for their 9th grade school year. Our LINK Crew leaders provided tours to the students, and 8th graders enjoyed lunch at the high school before returning to the middle school. The LINK Crew will continue to provide support for your students as they get acclimated to the high school.
High School Graduation Requirements
This chart provides a snapshot of what courses students are required to take for graduation. Our counselors will review these requirements with your student throughout their time in the high school. We will track progress and ensure that all the requirements are met. Below is the attachment of the graduation requirements.
2025-2026 Curriculum Guide
At this time, the course curriculum guide is available for viewing on the high school's guidance webpage. The course selection guide will provide you with all course descriptions, and it is divided by subject area. Each course provides the amount of credits earned for that course, which grade level is eligible for the course, and prerequisites needed to take the course. Provided here is a link for the Course Curriculum Guide.
Course Selection Sheets
The grade-level course selection sheets are available on the high school's guidance webpage. All students are required to request their courses using the PowerSchool portal, and they must turn in the course selection sheet to their advisory teacher.
Scheduling Considerations
- Be aware of course prerequisites, sequences, and recommendations.
- Explore future career options.
- Make sure your choices reflect your busy lives. Take jobs, family obligations, and extracurriculars into account. Don't overextend yourself.
- Talk with your current teachers and counselor if you have questions about the level of a course to select and/or their suggestions.
PowerSchool Scheduling
All students will schedule their courses on PowerSchool. 8th grade homeroom teachers and counselors will help students navigate registering for 2025-2026 courses. A few reminders for scheduling:

- You must log in to PowerSchool using the student account. Parent accounts will not work.
- The PowerSchool Portal will open on Wednesday, April 2, and 8th grade homeroom teachers and counselors will assist with scheduling courses.
Pathways to Graduation
