"Empowering Students to Design Their Own Future"

May 9, 2025 - Principal's Message
As we step into the final stretch of the school year, May brings with it celebration for a successful year and anticipation for next steps. This is a time when we recognize the incredible growth of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the continued support of our families. This month, we also take time to honor our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. Their commitment and care have been the foundation of our school’s success, and we thank them wholeheartedly for their efforts. Please be sure to check the NRAC calendar for important upcoming events, including field trips, award ceremonies, and dances. We look forward to celebrating these milestones with you.
As always, thank you for being an important part of our school community. Let’s make these last few weeks meaningful and memorable!
Have a great month!
Shane

Drop Off/Pick Up Information
As the weather is getting warmer, I wanted to take a moment to remind families about the drop off and pick up procedures for NRAC. Early drop off for car riders begins at 7:15 am. Students who are being dropped off by parents will be allowed to enter the building at 7:15 am. Please click HERE to see more information about drop off and pick up procedures.
When dropping students off in the mornings, please be sure to follow the appropriate drop off routes to ensure a faster and more efficient drop off process.
As a reminder to parents who pick up students from school at the end of the day, please follow the appropriate pick up procedures. Please refrain from using the main entrance staff parking lot to pick up students at the end of the day. This is causing a safety concern as buses are loading students and leaving promptly at the end of the school day. If there is a special circumstance that requires your students to be picked up from the main parking lot, please notify our office.
In addition, on the 3-4 side, students should not be exiting vehicles in the parking lot. Parents should stay in the car line with their child and drop them off in the appropriate drop off area. Students and parents are walking through the parking lot and this is not only slowing down the drop off procedure, but it is also a safety concern.

Spring is almost here! Students will start to wear shorts, dresses, sandals, etc. to school and we wanted to take a moment to send a reminder about appropriate school dress as the days get warmer.
