Graduation is quickly approaching. We are so proud of the young men and women of the Class of 2024 and all that they have accomplished at Bloomfield High School. The administration, faculty and staff of BHS look forward to celebrating this important milestone with you.

In preparation for the big day, we are including some important information below on how to prepare. Please make note of the below suggestions and times. June 11th will be here before you know it.

-The BHS Leadership Team

• Graduation will begin at 5:00 p.m. sharp. Graduates are expected to arrive at Bloomfield High School no later than 3:45 p.m. All graduates will convene in the athletic hallway to the side of the big gym. The Gates for parents and other guests will not open until 4:00 p.m.
• Should there be inclement weather, the rain date will be June 12th at 5:00 p.m.
• Each graduate will receive four tickets for the infield for graduation. Only those with a ticket will be allowed seating on the infield. Seating will be open and on a first come, first serve basis. Those guests without a ticket can sit in the bleachers. Tickets will not be given out for open seating in the bleachers.
• We suggest that graduates carpool with their families if at all possible due to parking constraints. Cars must park in the parking lots and in parking spots. There will be no parking on the grass.
• High Heels can not be worn on the infield. We suggest wedges or any shoe with a thicker bottom. This should apply to all of the graduates and anyone with reserved seating on the infield.
• Cap and Gowns/Graduation Tickets/Yard Signs/Yearbooks will be distributed to students on Friday, June 7th following exams for all students in good standing for graduation. Students should report to the Library Media Center. All graduation requirements must have been met prior.
• Handicap Parking: If you are in need of a handicap parking spot, please email aburrows@blmfld.org. Handicap Parking will be available by accessing the north parking lot on the Crestview Ave. side of the building.

• There will be a mandatory senior breakfast and graduation rehearsal on Monday, June 10, 2024. The breakfast will begin at 9 a.m. followed by rehearsal on the BHS Football Field. All graduates must attend! If for some reason there is an emergency, please make sure to contact Principal White as seating arrangements for graduation will be made based on attendance at rehearsal.
