Transfer Window for 2025-2026 to Open December 17
The transfer window for the 2025-2026 school year, originally scheduled to open on Monday, December 9, will now open on Tuesday, December 17, at 8:30 a.m.
This adjustment allows the Board of Trustees to gather and thoughtfully consider feedback from Hodges Elementary School families, whose campus will close at the end of this school year. These families have been invited to provide input on the consolidation options for their students, and the Board will finalize Hodges’ attendance boundaries during their meeting on Thursday, December 12.
The transfer application system requires all attendance boundaries for the 2025-2026 school year to be finalized before the process can begin. Once boundaries are finalized, the transfer window will open as planned on December 17 and remain open until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 17.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this transition with care and ensure a process that values community input. If you have any questions, please contact transfer.request@LubbockISD.org for assistance.
